I help out with electrical system calculations, designs or revisions.
Why do you enjoy working the engineering/design/construction field?
I have always enjoyed seeing how things work and building things, so engineering fit me well.
What drew you to Gibbens Drake Scott, Inc.?
While I was in school, I did an internship every summer. During my senior year, I interned at Gibbens Drake Scott, Inc. I really liked the professionalism and family feel while I was there.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Either a video game developer or a professional chef.
What inspires you?
People who work hard towards their goals, aspirations, or dreams.
What accomplishment or award you are most proud of?
Being able to point to the Shamrock Trading Corporation building and say that I helped with some of the floors. It was the biggest project that I was a part of during my internship.
Tell us about your background and why you chose to work at GDS?
I was born and raised from California, and I’m the oldest of three kids in my family. I came to Kansas for college, but stayed because of the people.
Tell us about a special talent or a strength you have.
I have a black belt in Taekwondo.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
Soccer, reading, exploring new places, and cooking.
What are three words you would use to describe yourself?
Affable, determined & easy-going.
