Explain what you do here at GDS.
I help design mechanical and plumbing systems for various types of projects.

Why do you enjoy working in the engineering/design/construction field?
I really enjoy problem solving and understanding how the systems around us work. It’s cool to see how ideas are turned into real-world buildings.

What drew you to Gibbens Drake Scott, Inc.?
The projects that GDS works on aligned with my interests, and the people here were a big draw too!

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be an Inventor when I grew up.

What inspires you?
People inspire me.

Could you tell us about your background?
I am relatively fresh to the consulting engineering field. I have worked for GDS since graduating from the University of Kansas.

Tell us about a special talent or a strength you have.
I have been playing music since a young age. I love the process of learning a new instrument.

What do you enjoy outside of work?
In my free time, I enjoy riding my mountain bike and doing other outdoor activities.
