Explain what you do here at GDS.
I help with all of the accounting and human resources here at GDS.

Why do you enjoy working the engineering/design/construction field?
I enjoy the technical environment, and I find the work that the engineers and designers here do very interesting.

What drew you to Gibbens Drake Scott, Inc.?
Our president, Jay, is actually who drew me to GDS! He presented me with this opportunity for post-graduation.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I actually always wanted to be a teacher growing up. My first grade teacher inspired me; I even had a little classroom set-up in my bedroom just like hers when I was in her class.

What accomplishment or award you are most proud of?
An accomplishment that I am most proud of would have to be earning my bachelor’s degree. I am the first in my immediate family line to achieve this accomplishment and it took a year longer than I would have expected, but the hard work and perseverance paid off.

Tell us a little bit about your background.
I have a background in customer service at the grocery store level, which is where I was for several years. I also have administrative experience at a local community college.

What do you enjoy outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, and I also enjoy line dancing on the weekends!

Friendly, compassionate & organized.
