Parking Garages

• Bank Street Parking Garage, Kansas City, Missouri
  Project was for a new three story garage with parking for 403 cars. The garage included exhaust ventilation on the lowest level controlled by carbon monoxide detection. Plumbing system included storm drainage with sand/oil separator and a few hose bibbs. Lighting system used were pendant mounted HPS garage light fixtures stemmed down so that the bottom of fixture was even with the bottom of the precast tees. The garage was fully sprinkled with a dry pipe system to Ordinary Hazard, Group 1 requirements.

• Block 89 Office Building/Parking Garage, Kansas City, Missouri
  Project included a new 100,000 SF Office Building with parking on two sub-levels below Office Building and a six level garage adjacent to the Office Building. The garage levels included exhaust ventilation controlled by carbon monoxide detectors. Plumbing system included storm drainage with sand/oil separator and a few hose bibbs. Lighting system used were pendant mounted metal halide garage light fixtures stemmed down so that the bottom of fixture was even with the bottom of the precast tees. The garage included a dry pipe sprinkler system on all but the top two levels of the garage adjacent to the Office Building.

• Block 35 Office Building/Parking Garage, Kansas City, Missouri
  Project included a new 150,000 SF Office Building and space for a future 150,000 SF Office Building on top of a multi-level 1,200 car parking garage. A mechanical ventilation system was designed to exhaust the garage and are controlled by carbon monoxide detectors. Plumbing system included storm drainage with sand/oil separators and sump pumps. Hose bibbs were located throughout for convenience. Lighting system used were pendant mounted metal halide fixtures designed for garage applications and stemmed down so that that the bottom of the fixture was even with the bottom of the precast tees. The garage was fully sprinkled using a dry pipe system and included wet standpipes in all stairwells that were enclosed.

• Commerce Tower Parking Garage, Kansas City, Missouri
  Project was for a six story garage with parking for 624 cars. A mechanical ventilation system was required and is controlled by carbon monoxide detectors. The plumbing system includes storm drainage with sand/oil separator, sump pumps and hose bibbs located throughout. The electrical system incorporates a 208 volt, 3 phase service, metal halide garage fixtures, security, parking control and fire alarm system. The garage was fully sprinkled using a dry pipe system.
