GDS’ experience on mission critical facilities in recent years has included the design of medium voltage distribution systems as well as 48 VDC power systems.

At right is an outdoor generator with a weatherproof enclosure. This particular genset provides power at 15 KV to match the Utility power.

GDS has experience in the design of standby and redundant systems for a variety of project types. Several of the installations are pictured on this sheet. At left is a Technology Laboratory set up with raised floor, UPS, grounding, and 120/208 VAC power for future racks and test equipment.

At left is a 2N redundant switchgear lineup so that a failure in one service will be transferred over to the backup gear.
